Starting the radiusd
Synopsis
radiusd [-ddebuglevel] [-u configpath] [--dict dictionaryfile] [-l logmusterfile] [-t|--falle]
The options
- -ddebuglevel
- sets the Debuglevel.
Currently the are these levels:
- 1 displays the queryies and the answer of the radiusd.
- 2 display the decrypted password of the user. It is for hacking
when the DAU types a false password
- 4 detailed debugging (must be compiled with -DDEBUG)
- -u configpath
- overwrites the path of the Configuration with the path config
- --dict dictionaryfile
- overwrites the path of the
dictionary with the path dictionaryfile
- -l logmusterfile
- overwrites the path of the userfile with the path logmusterfile
- -t or --falle
- enables the traps
normal starting
I start it simply /local/radius/bin/radiusd.
Logging
Sometimes we want to log special pakets.
Signals
- SIGHUP
- close the logfile and opens it again. It may be used to save
the logfile at the end of an period.
- SIGTERM
- stops the Radiusd (Master and the workers)
- SIGINT
-
stops the Radiusd (Master and the workers) (same as above, but it
is for stoping when the Radiusd is running in the debugmode.
